The blog is dedicated to Nicholas Trahan. Nick sustained a traumatic brain injury as the result of an auto accident in 2006. After remaining in a coma for 3 months, he began the long road to recovery.

Out with the old - in with the new!
Well, it's that time again. Today was Nick's last day of Physical Therapy. They sent him home with new exercises and will re-evaluate in 3 months. He started speech therapy at UL with the graduate students in the Speech Pathology Department. My hopes are high that the change in clinics will do him some good. Anything out of the ordinary is a great stimulant for him.
