We just got back from a 5 day vacation to Gulf Shores. Nicholas spent much of his time walking back and forth across the pool. It seems that was possibly the best therapy he could have gotten because he took six steps from one couch to the other in the living room when we got home. Now, we are trying to talk Eric into putting in a pool. The only problem with that is the worry that Nick won't follow the rules. He is so stubborn and always tries to do things he shouldn't (especially when we tell him not to). Eric and I worry that he might try to get into the pool alone, so we will have to make sure we have thought this through and have taken all of the precautions to ensure his safety. We tried joining the spa but Nick didn't enjoy sharing the pool with the ladies water exercise class. Please join us in praying for guidance in this decision. Thanks.

Maybe a gate with a combination lock that he doesn't know?

Being stubborn runs in the family -(LOL) but it's also what keeps him going and never giving up! I'll pray for you guys - that ya'll make the right decision AND that Nick respects the decision (and rules if you put the pool in).
