It is with great emotion that I write this post today. I cannot express the appreciation that my family feels for everything this community has done for Nicholas. I was so overwhelmed by the participation in the Skeet Shoot on Saturday. I had no idea that it would be such an “event”.
I would like to thank Janine and Ann and Nick’s wonderful sister, Amanda for their tireless efforts in chairing this event. I am always amazed by people who can organize such events and make it look so effortless. Our family is eternally grateful to you and to everyone who helped to make it such a success.
Nicholas thoroughly enjoyed the day. I almost couldn’t get him to leave, but as soon as he hit the bed at noon, he was sound asleep. After about 45 minutes, I went into his room and he looked at me. I asked him if he wanted something and he mouthed “GO BACK”. And, so we did. It was a perfectly wonderful day and I know that even though he doesn’t remember things sometimes, he will remember this.

Delighted to read about the success of "Impossible is Nothing." Know that we were there in spirit and heart (even if we could not be there physically)! WE LOVE YOU NICK! WE LOVE YOU TRAHAN FAMILY!
