Friday Night Football

The football game Friday night was an emotional one for us. It was Nick's first real outing since the accident. Although he didn't get to watch most of the game, I know he was happy to see everyone and to be out of the house on such a beautiful night. Everything went better than we expected, even though he was exhausted.

Nick and I spent a lot of time outside this weekend. I walked him around the block and we sat outside for a good part of the afternoon on Saturday. We also took a ride in Emily's car on Sunday.

Nick is doing better and better every day with his walking. It has become much easier for me to handle him because he supports the bulk of his weight and he is more stable. He has gained back all of the weight that he lost since the accident, and some.

Thank you Lynette Sanders and family for the delicious meal you brought over last Sunday. I really appreciate having that extra time to spend with Nick.

I am looking for someone to help me with housekeeping. I would like to hire someone to come in on Fridays, even if they can only clean the downstairs. I can't seem to get everything done on the weekends and I would like to devote my time on weekends to Nick.
If any of you know of someone, please email me at sondra@abbevilleoffshore.com or post a message on the site.

Thanks,
Sondra
