Nick's Homecoming

We found out Monday that Nicholas is coming home Wednesday for good. He will be transported by Acadian Ambulance along with mom from New Orleans sometime mid day.

I am asking that everyone please give our family a few weeks to settle in and get adjusted to having him home. I know everyone is eager to see Nick and tell him how much we all missed him. Right now Nicholas needs to get used to being home and we need to get the house and his caregivers in order. Nicholas is still in a healing process so he cannot be overly stimulated and when he is he gets overwhelmed.

I know many of you will have questions and concerns so please field all of them through me at amandad@louisiana.edu. I will also continue to update everyone through this website. Nicholas still demands a lot of care and we want him to be in the best environment for him.

Once again we thank everyone for your prayers and support and your understanding. Once we are settled we will welcome all who love Nicholas to help in his healing process.
