Nicholas will be getting his speech device at the beginning of December. Hopefully, by the new year, he will have mastered it to a point where he is comfortable. He is very excited today because Eric and Clint are taking him hunting this weekend. I'm a little nervous about it, but I sure could use a day off. We were sick with a virus at the beginning of the week, but we're doing much better.
The photos above were taken during his eval in Ruston. That is not the device he will be receiving, but we are going to try different ones until he finds the one he likes. We are still praying for a miracle, and are hopeful that he will be able to talk on his own again soon.
