For the past several months, Nick has been standing up from a sitting position on the couch and leaning against it to support himself. Last night he did something he had never done before.
He crawled out of his wheelchair then got on all fours. He slowly brought one foot flat beneath his torso, then lifted himself upright on the other foot. It was AMAZING!!! He didn't stand for long because, of course, he still has tremors, but he is trying so hard to balance himself. It brought tears to my eyes. It was like seeing a baby stand alone for the first time.
God is good!!!

Faith is all it takes. Glad to hear the wonderful news. Don't let Nick give up and don't any of you give up either. GOD IS GREAT!!!!!!!!

Tell a Trahan that he can't do something and watch determination kick in.

Nick I am so proud of you Keep up the hard work!!! Have FAITH and trust that GOD has a special plan all laied out for you. Ms. Sonja I hope you are feeling better! I have send in a special prayer request to the nuns at the daily word they pray continousely for you and Nick for 30 days and Nicks name will be added to the prayer book for prayers!! Please continue to update us on the progress. I know how hard and frustrating it gets but do not lose faith it will shine through in the end!
