Nick's speech is getting much better. We are not having to pull out his alphabet chart nearly as much anymore. I have been able to understand more of what he is saying. It is his birthday on Saturday (11/3). He will be 21.
Last night we sat on the porch and gave out candy to the Trick or Treaters. He has been very tired from therapy but stayed up long enough to see the children. We had 348 children!

GOOD JOB NICHOLAS! Keep on fighting and all will be well. God Bless you all. And...HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK!
Hey Nick! Its been forever since we've seen each other but Im glad to see that your gettin better everyday! Its a miracle! I have a little story of my own, but Im recovering very well. Just like you. Keep up the good work and the good faith. Every thing will work out. Believe me darling! Dont let anyone disappoint or upset you. Its not worth it. I had to learn how to walk all over again, it wasnt fun, and it was very hard. But dont let the looks put you down, let them give you the strength to prove them wrong. Stay strong babe.
