I am happy to report that Nicholas is doing better. He is getting stronger every day and is almost independently going to the bathroom. He has had a couple of falls, but they were minor and he wasn't hurt (only his pride). Last night he agreed to go to eat out with Meagan, Jordan and I. He even requested "Olive Garden". The last few times he went to a restaurant, he refused to eat. I think he was embarrassed. Last night he ate practically all of his food and he and Meagan and Jordan cut up at the table until I had to stop them. It was the best night we've had in a long time. Monday we are going to Baton Rouge to see a new Neuro Surgeon. I feel that it doesn't hurt to get another opinion. If he agrees with the treatment that Nick is receiving now, we will be satisfied. I won't sit back and wait when there might be more we can do for him. We are also looking into extra therapy. He has been doing well and we are anxious to give Nick as much therapy as he can tolerate if it will be beneficial to his recovery.

I have scolded him on the instant messages he has been sending. It seems that he sometime has a "one track mind" and that is never a good thing. Please excuse him and realize that he does have a brain injury. He isn't always what he should be. I apologize.

We pray that someday all will be right again.
