IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING

SPORTING CLAY CHALLENGE

“Impossible is Nothing” is pleased to announce its Sporting Clay Shoot-Out Fundraiser to benefit Nicholas Trahan. This event will be held on Saturday, October 14th, 2006, at the Gulf Offshore Logistics Sporting Clays Range in Maurice, LA. Proceeds from the event will be used to obtain medical supplies, equipment, treatment, etc. that are needed to aid Nicholas’ recovery from a brain injury he sustained in an automobile accident in April.

Shooters must provide their own ear plugs, eye protection and shells (2 ¾” – 7 ½”, 8 or 9 shot only) for the sporting clays event. The morning round will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the second round will begin at 12:00 p.m. In the event that there are more than 48 teams a third round will begin at 3:00 p.m. Assignment of rounds is determined by receipt of registration. You must be at the clubhouse at least thirty minutes prior to your flight for safety instructions. You may bring your own transportation (golf cart, gator, mule – NO FOUR-WHEELERS). Positively NO drinking of any alcoholic beverage will be allowed.

The side events will be a “2 Man Flurry”, Long Bird, Raffle Board and Silent Auction. The silent auction will take place during the entire event and will end at the completion of the last round. In the event of a tie for the “sporting clay challenge” – there will be a scorecard shoot-off. Winners will be announced at the end of the competition.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended to ensure placement in flights. Attached is the entry form and sponsorship information. Walk-up registration is allowed and will begin Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Food & drinks will be served thru-out the event.


Cost will be a $100.00 donation per shooter. A team is made up of (4) shooters. The divisions are as follows: Adult, Youth – 17 & under, Ladies, Team Awards.

DIRECTIONS:
From Abbeville: Take Hwy. 167 north toward Maurice. Take a left (west) on LA Hwy 697, travel 3 miles, club is located on the left. Look for the white iron gates.

From Lafayette: Take Hwy. 167 south toward Abbeville. Travel through Maurice approximately 4 miles south of town, turn right (west) on LA Hwy 697, travel 3 miles, club is located on the left. Look for the white iron gates.

Sonya, Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help with the skeet shoot. We just had one and it was great. Best of luck with everything and just call if I can help.
