Eric took Nick, Marcus, Tyler, Paul and Meagan out for dinner the Friday before Christmas. We weren't sure if he would remember Paul since he hadn't seen him since September. But he did remember him. It was Nick's first outing to a restaurant since the accident and he did great.
Nick has been eating all kinds of food and his swallowing is getting much better. We went to Jordan's game last night and he hardly drooled at all. Very soon he will be having his swallow test. Please pray that all goes well. He is asking every day to remove the feeding tube.
We have to keep the phone out of his reach because he calls people if he gets to it. He can't really talk very well, so if you get a call and can't understand what the person on the other end is saying...it probably is Nick. Please be patient. He misses his friends.
The doctor has taken Nick off of another medication. We are almost drug free. It's a good thing because he doesn't want us to give it to him.
Nick has a lot of trouble seeing. We're not sure how long this has been going on. He says that he sees double and that his vision is blurry. He is going to the eye doctor this afternoon. I pray that it can be corrected.

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear of all the progress that Nick is making. KUDOS to the entire Trahan family for not giving up on Nick and trusting in God that all will be well. Our prayers continue for Nick and all of you everyday. Keep the Faith and 2007 will be a very Blessed year.
